Coffee today?

Let’s just be honest for a second —

Coffee today?

It’s not coffee.

— ✧ —

I mean —

 We’ve got plastic pods.

Mystery blends.

Beans that have been ground into dust.

And sitting who knows where — for who knows how long.

Crops sprayed with who knows what.

And we're all just like —

“Yeah — this is fine. This is normal.”

— ✧ —

Is it though?

Because I don’t know about you —

but half the time you drink it,

you’re either:

jittery for no reason

crashing two hours later

or staring at your cup like —

“Did this even do anything?”

— ✧ —

But hey—at least it was convenient —

right?

— ✧ —

What Happened?

Coffee used to be simple.

Real beans. Fresh. Strong.

You drank it, and it actually did something.

Now?

It’s over-roasted to hide low quality.

Pre-ground into oblivion.

 Shoved into plastic pods.

And marketed like it’s some luxury experience.

— ✧ —

It looks good.

It smells good.

It even tastes okay — sometimes.

— ✧ —

But it doesn’t feel good.

And that’s the part nobody talks about.

— ✧ —

Because here’s the truth —

Coffee was never supposed to:

Spike you up and drop you off a cliff.

Make your stomach question your life choices.

Or require three cups — just to feel like a functioning human

— ✧ —

It was supposed to be steady.

Grounding.

Something you enjoy—

not something you depend on— just to get through your morning.

— ✧ —

So I Did Something About It

Not by trying to “be coffee”…

But by asking a better question:

What was coffee actually supposed to do?

Clear.

Focused.

Present.

That “I feel good, let’s go” kind of feeling.

Without the garbage.

Without the crash.

Without whatever is going on in half these pods.

— ✧ —

So instead of forcing something

that’s been stripped down and overprocessed…

— ✧ —

We went back to real ingredients.

Plants that actually do something.

Blends that feel as good as they taste.

— ✧ —

Crazy concept, I know.

— ✧ —

At the End of the Day

This isn’t about giving up coffee.

It’s about realizing

— ✧ —

maybe what you’ve been drinking

isn’t what you thought it was in the first place.

— ✧ —

And once you feel the difference —

There’s no going back.

That’s the Earth & Essence difference.
